Why Independence Businesses Need a Website
Independence is one of the fastest-growing cities in Northern Kentucky, and for good reason. With over 700 acres of Kenton County parkland, excellent schools like Simon Kenton High School, and a family-focused community vibe, people are moving here in droves. The population has nearly doubled since 2000, and all those new residents are searching online for local businesses. If you run a service business along Madison Pike or Taylor Mill Road, a healthcare practice, an auto repair shop, or any other local business, your potential customers are Googling you right now. The question is whether they find you or your competitor.
What makes Independence unique is that it's a suburb that acts like a community. Memorial Park hosts the 4th of July celebration, the Party in the Park concert series, and the Christmas Walk every year. Lincoln Ridge Park and Middleton-Mills Park give families places to gather on the weekends. The Independence Business Association actively supports local companies. But many of those businesses still don't have a proper website. They're relying on Facebook pages or directory listings. That's not enough anymore, especially when you're competing for customers across the entire NKY and Cincinnati metro.
